HRE: Practicum II

During my internship my main project was to help create a new program called "The Teaching Kitchen" . I created a promotional flyer for the company, and a job description to give to interested people who would like to apply for the job.

Teaching Kitchen Job Description
HRE: Student Career and Intern. Program

Had a semester long internship with Melissa Sams at Sams Lawfirm in High Point, NC.

Through this internship I gained lots of experience when it came to dealing with individuals while they are going through some very challenging times.

During my internship I was able to sit in on certain meetings with Mrs. Sams and her clients, I also went to court with her, and attended local events.

One big project I helped with was a Guardian Ad Litem case. I attended and listened to all the interviews Mrs. Sams did, along with doing home visits with Mrs. Sams. At the end Mrs. Sams and I sat together and discussed the case, she walked me through the process she has and the paperwork she must complete in order to come to a decision and make a recommend to the court.
